Average rating (0 votes):

On Saturday, January 19, 2008, Hands On Miami will remember Dr. Martin Luther King’s message at the sixth annual Martin Luther King Day Celebration. WE NEED YOU!!! This year, Hands On Miami is striving for 900 volunteers to beautify and revitalize the facilities of Allapattah Middle School and the Optimist Club, an inner-city grassroots organization providing after-school programs and activities to at-risk youth from underserved areas of Miami-Dade County. Activities will include over 100 landscaping, painting, and mural creation projects, helping to create friendlier, more nurturing environments for our community’s most at-risk youth.
Special guest artist: Xavier Cortada
