Have fun! Give back! Make connections! Great Explorations, the Children’s Museum is looking for energetic and engaging volunteers of all ages to help in various departments throughout the museum. Whether you want to work with kids in our child programs, do some data entry in our administration offices, greet and assist visitors in our gift shop or at the front desk, we have a spot for you. With 13 departments to choose from, everyone has something to contribute. In recognition of all of our volunteers’ efforts, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including discounts, events, membership, and more. Foster Great Futures
 
Foster Great Futures is an exciting youth development program that provides youth 7-25 years of age with opportunities for social, personal and professional development. This is done through a department internship, completing community service activities and taking on special projects that you create. In addition to the three areas of development that encourage growth among participants you will also take part in exciting adventures, team building, reflective activities, journaling, making new friends, resume building, development workshops, field experiences (trips), discussion groups, career training, and more. All of this while receiving the hours you need to meet community service requirements for graduation or scholarships.
